  • What is Sally Beauty Rewards? Is it the same as the Beauty Club Card?

    Sally Beauty Rewards is our revamped, no-fee loyalty program which replaces the Beauty Club Card and its $5 annual membership fee. It's free and easy to join with your email address. You’ll receive a coupon after your first purchase as a member —$5 welcome reward— for use on your next visit. And, now that the program is free, you never have to worry about renewing your membership.

    How do I already have Points in the new program?

    If you made a purchase the same day you enrolled, you’ve already earned Points!

    How does the program work?

    You’ll receive a $5 reward certificate for every 500 Points you earn. Every $1 you spend equals 10 Points. When you accumulate 500 Points (or spend $50), you'll get a $5 reward certificate. Each month you'll receive personalized offers, deals and sneak peeks. Plus, you'll get a birthday reward and earn double Points on every purchase for the entire month of your birthday.

    Where can I sign up for the program?

    You can sign up in your local store, or visit and sign up online.

    What information do I need to provide to sign-up?

    All you need is your email address, name, and phone number—no membership card required! You’ll receive your welcome reward within 72 of your first purchase as a member. We will also ask you to complete your profile online with information like your birthday (so we’ll know when to send your special gift!) For Pro members, we also require your mailing address, license number, state, and expiration date. Students will need to provide school name and graduation date in addition to your email address, name and phone number.

    Are there different tiers with different benefits?

    Yes. If you spend $200 or more in a calendar year, you'll be bumped up to our Elite tier, which unlocks extra benefits like 25% additional bonus Points every time you shop, and free shipping* on every purchase with no minimum purchase. Your Elite status will be valid through the end of the next calendar year. (Exclusions apply. Please see terms and conditions for full details.)

    How much time do I have to use my Reward Certificate?

    When you earn a reward, you have 60 days to redeem it. (US residents only. Canadian members please see Canadian terms and conditions for full details.)

    Do Points rollover?

    Points will accumulate as long as you make a purchase at least once every 12 months. Although we must say, we'd love to see you more than just once a year!

    How long does it take after making a purchase for you to update my status?

    A good rule of thumb is to allow up to 72 hours for Points to show up in your account for regular in-store purchases. Online purchases will post to your account within 72 hours of being shipped. Bonus Points may take longer to post to your account.

    What if I don't want to be automatically enrolled?

    Membership in the new program is required for all Professional and Student members to continue receiving special pricing. If you don't wish to be part of the new program, just call Customer Service at 1-866-234-9442 to be removed.

  • Are there any exclusions on the Reward Certificates?

    With this new program, you can redeem rewards on almost anything in the store. Only gift cards are excluded. The choice is yours!

    Can I redeem my welcome reward immediately after I join, if I join in-store?

    Your welcome reward will be sent to you in your welcome email within 72 hours of your first purchase as a member. Then it’s available for you to use in your next transaction.

    Do I have to go to the store to use my reward certificate? Can I redeem my reward certificate online?

    You can redeem your rewards certificates in-store or online.

    Can I redeem multiple reward certificates in the same visit?

    Yes! However only rewards of different values may be combined. Rewards coupons can be used for one-time use only. Any remaining value will be forfeited.

    If I spend $50 at one time, can I get my reward certificate at the time of purchase and redeem it at the same time?

    Alas, no. We update your balance every night, so it will take a little time for your $50 purchase to convert to 500 Points and be sent to you as a reward certificate via email.

    I get a $5 reward certificate for every $50 purchase … so if I buy a $100 product, do I get two $5 reward certificates?

    No, if you spend $100 (earn 1,000 Points) in a single visit, we’ll send you one $10 reward certificate. However, if you have two different certificates at once, you can redeem them together on a single purchase in-store or online.

    Can I pull up my rewards and coupons on my phone? Do I have to print them out?

    You can print it out or show us on your phone—whichever is easiest for you.

    Can the sales associate pull up my rewards and coupons when I get to the store?

    Unfortunately, no.

    Will you remind me that my coupon is going to expire?

    Absolutely! We don’t want you to forget.

    Can I get Points for shopping on

    Yes, you earn Points for every online purchase, as long as you’re logged in to your account.

    Can I redeem rewards or coupons on

    Yes, you can redeem your reward certificates and coupons online at However only rewards of different values may be combined. Rewards coupons can be use for one-time use only. Any remaining value will be forfeited.

  • What do I get as an Elite member?

    You get all of the benefits of the Preferred level plus extra benefits including 25% bonus Points every time you make a purchase, and free shipping* on all of your online orders—no minimum required.

    How did I already earn Elite status?

    If you make a purchase of $200 or more when you first join the program, you will automatically be upgraded into the Elite tier. So if you already spent $200, congrats and welcome to Elite!

    What do I need to do to bump up to the Elite tier?

    Spend a total of $200 within a single calendar year to qualify for the Elite tier.

    Once I make it to the Elite tier, how long do I stay at that level?

    You'll enjoy Elite status from the time that you’re upgraded through the end of the next full calendar year, but you'll need to requalify each calendar year to hang on to all of your Elite benefits.

  • What do I get as a Pro member?

    As a Pro member, you will receive everything at the Preferred member level, in addition to your Pro discount.

    How do I know when I have earned a reward?

    When you earn a reward, we will send you an email with your certificate!

    Will the sales associates be able to pull up my information by my phone number? Email?

    Yes, either way.

    Will the sales associate be able to tell me how many more Points I have to earn to get to my next reward or to the Elite tier?

    The sales associate will not be able to tell you at this time. However, we’ll keep you posted in the emails we send you, or you can check your progress anytime on your online dashboard at Both will show you how close you are to your next free product reward and earning Elite tier status.
